Onward Search Education is partnering with a school district in Chicago Heights, IL to hire a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2025–2026 school year. *Location:* Chicago Heights, IL *Start Date:* August 11, 2025 *End Date:* June 1, 2026 *Schedule:* Monday–Friday *Grade Level:* K–8 *Hours:* 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (35 hours/week) *Key Responsibilities* * Serve two school sites, supporting staff in meeting the behavioral needs of students. * Develop and oversee Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). * Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure the effectiveness of behavioral interventions. * Collaborate with school staff, including teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and related service providers, to implement evidence-based practices. * Support classroom teams in behavior management strategies and interventions—this role does *not* provide 1:1 ABA therapy. * Conduct observations and provide training and coaching for classroom staff to support student success. * Maintain documentation and compliance according to school and district policies. *Qualifications* * Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required. * Experience working in school settings or with children/adolescents preferred. * Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage a fluctuating caseload (typically around 15 students). *What We Offer* * Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. * Streamlined onboarding and hiring process. * Ongoing support from a dedicated education recruiter. * Opportunities for growth in a collaborative and mission-driven district.
