Responsibilities:
Provide accurate and effective American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation services for a student in a 1:1 educational setting
Facilitate munication between student, peers, and educational staff
Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, and school activities
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and school policies
Collaborate with educational teams to support student success
Monitor and adjust interpretation methods as needed for student prehension
Requirements:
EIPA Score of 3.0 or higher or
Valid RID or NIC Certification
Experience in K12 school settings preferred
Strong understanding of deaf culture and ASL grammar and structure
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Must be able to mit to full-time, onsite work for the duration of the school year
