We are looking for a Law Clerk to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal support to the attorneys in our firm, including researching and analyzing legal documents, preparing legal briefs and memoranda, and assisting with trial preparation. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have excellent research and writing skills, a strong understanding of the law, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
As a Law Clerk, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. .
The ideal candidate will be a law student hoping to gain hands on experience from seasoned attorneys .

- Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, including drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and preparing for trial
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and other court proceedings.
- Organize and analyze documents and evidence.
- Conduct legal research using various resources such as Westlaw
- Attend court proceedings and provide assistance to attorneys during trials.
- Prepare summaries of legal opinions and decisions.
- Prepare and maintain case files and databases
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as directed by attorneys
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and managing calendars
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of legal concepts and procedures
- Proficiency in document review and contract analysis
- Ability to conduct thorough legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with legal drafting and the ability to write clear and concise legal documents
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Law students preferred
