All participants are paired with a trained teen volunteer who provides friendship and support during ongoing programs. We are seeking a charismatic, well organized and detail oriented Program Director to direct, organize, implement and execute our programs. This is a part time hybrid position with opportunities to become full time. Current Friendship Circle Programs: After School Activities Family Programs Responsibilities: Organizes, implements and executes current programs for children, teens, young adults, family programs, and after school activities Plans and creates program content and activities Modifies and develops new programs as needed Hires and manages program contractors, facilitators, and oversees volunteers. Maintain and oversee the required equipment, supplies, and materials Consistently communicates to participants, families, contractors, and staff members Evaluates the effectiveness of programs and service activities provided Interviews and admits prospective families with kids, teens and young adults with special needs into Friendship Circle programs Works directly with on-site Therapists and Volunteer Coordinator for Friendship Circle programs Assists with teen volunteer recruitment for Friendship Circle Staff fairs and events for program marketing.
