Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr One of our top clients is looking for a Property Accountant to join their team in Washington, DC. If you are a 2-3+ year accounting professional with a strong background in property management and/or a Public Accounting professional with a Real Estate background please feel free to apply! Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations for multiple properties. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Perform detailed analysis of fund performance and variances. Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to investors and regulatory bodies. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred. 2-3+ years of experience in property accounting or real estate Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
